Dr. Ei Ei Soe Min is a Lecturer at the Department of English at the Meiktila University of Economics, Meiktila. She was born in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State. She received the degree of B.A. (English) in 2006 and M.A. (English) in 2009 from the University of Taunggyi. She started her studying abroad in 2013, in Japan. She earned the degree of M.A. (Language, Media and Communication) in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in 2020 from the Kyushu University, Fukuoka city, Japan.
Her major field of study is Comparative Linguistics. She is interested in the study of Transitivity in grammar and comparative studies of tense, aspect, and grammatical agency in English, Japanese and Myanmar languages.
She has published research articles in the East Asian Journal of Studies on the Japanese Language & Culture, International Journal of Languages, Literature, and Arts, and Integrated Sciences for Global Society Studies.
